Features, choices, alternatives, and freedom are not cheap, or
granted, or automatic.

Providing features costs energy, time, and work. Providing choice
costs energy, time, and work. Providing alternatives costs energy,
time, and work.

The required energy and time must come from somewhere, and the work
needs to be done by somebody.
