A number of file manager apps can connect of LAN via SMB. Whether
any/some of these will meet your libre requirements or have access to
the files you need will depend on your testing.

I'm currently on a Samsung S9 (Android 10) and the built in Samsung file
manager can successfully connect via SMB (to my surprise).

I've also set up Nextcloud (which works) and if you're on *nix then you
should probably be able to run it on your desktop without going to the
cloud anywhere else.
