I've pushed a new patch to make the (new on this fork) passwd_feedback
message position work the same as the session and general status
messages, and the original slimlock version of the passwd_feedback. This
change will be in upstream V1.4.0 but since it affects theme definitions
(for anyone writing themes for V1.3.9) I felt it worth patching before
it goes stable!

I bumped the version to 1.3.9-2devuan1 - I hope that's the correct way
to do it.

If people could have a quick review of the changes then I'll set off a
build.

Thanks,

Rob
