I have:

$ cat /etc/apt/preferences.d/avoid-systemd
Package: systemd-sysv
Pin: release o=Debian
Pin-Priority: -1
$
~~~

And (beowulf):
~~~
$ dpkg --list | grep systemd
$
~~~

But I am not sure your problem depends on this...

I can see (`$ apt-cache rdepends libsystemd0` or `$aptitude -v why
libsystemd0`) that libsystemd0 is a dependance for spice-vdagent... Maybe
this is related with you KVM VPS server?
