How can you say "It does nothing for you." you have no idea how I am using Linux. I have systems that do not even have '/boot', the kernel lives in NAND.

There is far too much of this "You must \ you must not" and nowhere near enough "You can \ You may not".

Do you know how you are using Linux ?
What is in your Router, Phone, Vacuum, Washing Machine, Fridge.
Not that I would entertain a fridge that orders my weekly shop for me, but that is *my choice*.


If you want to live in a dictatorship, install Microsoft, IBM\RedHat, Canonical, but leave me free to choose the best method for my use scenario.
