Actually the usr merge itself isn't a real but rather a theoretical issue for me
and I totally appreciate Devuan and it's devs efforts. Slackware was highly
recommended to me 20 years ago and the no dependency management issue stopped me
ever bothering with it. I also wonder what the rc scripts it uses are like as I
like OpenBSDs. I like runit too. It was more if Slackware is unlikely to budge
on usr merge (a guess) because of it's benevolent dictator then what else might
I like about it. I bet it's recovery system lets you just fsck the root disk but
maybe not.
