Hello,

I have a fairly generic install of Excaliber with the mate desktop. I
can't get sound to work at all. I'm working on AMD hardware. (AMD Ryzen
7 6800H).

lscpi -knn |grep -i audio returns

speaker-test tell me that the host is down. I have no idea where to
start with this.  nothing I'm finding is helpful.  Can anyone tell me
where to start?
