I assume that is the case but I haven't found a html output that looks as good as github, not even ghostwriter in github mode. Ghostwriter is the best repo reader I have found but it's still not good and can't even do reading without the editor.

I actually hate markdown and use libreoffice writer .fodt which is flat xml that works just fine with git.
