mentions package ifupdown and commands iface, ifup and ifdown.

Years ago there was advice that ip replaced ifupdown and ifconfig. Is
ip avoided in Devuan? Nobody has had an opportunity to update the
Configuration Guide?

The instructions for "Standard DHCP wireless setup" work with no
difficulty.

Only one SSID is used here. After booting, (1) wpagui must be started
and (2) instructed to connect. How should those two steps be
automated?
