Or, pressing Control-Left or Control-Right mouseclick pops up a great

fat menu, depended from the cursor position - can't be missed.

And if using Gnome: Widening circles appear around the pointer, on pressing

the Control key, if enabled by selecting:

Preferences->Mouse:Locate_Pointer

Or on Debian:

Applications->System_Tools->Preferences->System_Settings->Mouse_and_Touchpad:

Show position of pointer when Control key is pressed

I've looked, but failed to find anything similar on xfce.
