It may just have been Baloo indexing some files in case you did not
disable it, but that may cause more than 5 to 10% of CPU usage. Or maybe
for some reason Akonadi starts up. One reason could be if you enabled
showing appointments in calendar. With that disabled it should not start
up on Plasma startup, unless some other applets references it. Way before
I switched my main production Akonadi setups to SQLite3 I did so with
Plasma desktops where I usually do not use it. So in case it starts up, it
will use less resources.
OpenBox is a window manager. Plasma a desktop environment. There may be
some occasional maintenance work stuff some applet does. For example one
of my weather applets may receive and process new data.
