I had pulseaudio installed when upgrading to daedalus and the devices did not
appear in first place with pulseaudio. I installed pipewire just to try to
solve. I installed pipewire acording to:
    https://dev1galaxy.org/viewtopic.php?id=5867
...and yes I installed pipewire-audio pipewire-pulse pipewire-alsa and
pavucontrol-qt*.

I installed from stable (0.3.65).

This is done in .xsessionrc.

The problem does not seem to be related to the sound system, there are a few
posts, that describe the same problem, like for example:
https://discuss.kde.org/t/kde-disappeared-audio-devices/5579/1
    or
https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/audio-device-not-visible-or-usable-in-kde-settings-until-a-profile-is-assigned/74851
...it seems related to some KDE oddities.

I do not have access to the machine, its from someone else some 30KM away. So
I cannot try your suggestions at the time. I was hoping that someone had the
same problem when upgrading and remembered what the problem was.

I'll try your suggestion with backports, when get my hands on that machine.
Thanx!

Regards, Adrian.
