For many years I used to use a mouse connected to my laptops, which
I used more like transportable computers than on my lap, partly because
they were pretty heavy. But, say 6 or 7 years ago, I decided to
seriously learn using the touchpad and very quickly became fond of it. I
now like it much better than the mouse and use the mouse only when
there's no touchpad, like on a desktop computer. My current laptop is a
6 years old HP EliteBook and the touchpad is pretty good.
