I expect that the previous versions of [telegram-desktop] will work
properly in their version installations: Daedalus, Chimaerra, etc.
That said, if it *was* in the Debian stable repositories before and
it is not there *now* (-> degraded to testing), there must be
something going on.

Like I said, there must be something going on.
Maybe it is all due to some spat between the systemd-kingdom and the
