I assume this example had the backports commented out because they are
only recommended to be used consciously when a user knows they want to
take from them, not because of the backports being thought unavailable.

The backports have been open for months, long before Excalibur was
released! This is on account of Debian trixie already being released and
therefore trixie-backports already being made.
