For me, the culprit was Python-3, totally corrupted the package data
base. Work station is now running Daedalus Via upgrade. LAN server will
also be upgraded the same way once I get around to cloning the root
drive to an SSD. In the mean time, I simply update packages Via dpkg
using various command line options.
