    Just had a look at the link. Their devices look more expensive than
Pine, though not out of stock.

    They claim their Android is degoogleized, but the web site is
super-googleized: googleapis, googleapis... ad nauseam.

    More disgusting: the site forum.fairphone.com detects if your
browser allows fingerprinting; if not, it declares it obsolete. I didn't
check, but this functionality is generally implemented by a connection
to cloudfront.
