Hi All,

Not new to devuan. I was having issues with an RPi 2 that's used as a
wifi/ethernet bridge
using a USB wifi adapter. It also runs; DNS, ntpd, postfix, LORA radio,
etc. The whole point
is to run some low stress coms to get solar system data from a remote shed
back to my house.
I've tried two raspbian versions and currently have daedalus running. I've
tried two different
RPi 2 boards and at least a couple of official power supplies, and still get
crashes/reboots with
no indication in /var/log/syslog about what happened. I added a script that
runs every minute
to log the output of free and vcgencmd get_throttled and so far, nothing has
popped out.
The wifi adapter is a current USB unit from BrosTrend. When it works, it's
great.
I can't tell if the hardware or the Realtek driver is the cause of the issue
or not. I can unplug it and
expect the issue will resolve, but the lack of remote access is a pain.

I've researched how to determine the cause of crashes and all the trivial
things have
been checked. Short of setting up Kdump and friends, are there any other
things
I should try? ModemManager has been disabled. I'd like to replace
NetworkManager but
when I tried that on the newest RPiOS, it failed.
