I had all four of my RAM sticks go bad, one after a few months, one
after a year, and the other two after 3 years. I had used lube
liberally enough that the tech at Refresh Computers knew I'd
lubricated, and told me next time it would void my warranty.

But as I said elsewhere in this thread, not lubricating invites hard to
diagnose costly intermittents. It's a tradeoff.
