Subject: [DNG] Flawed installation
I'm trying to install daedalus on a SSD. When finished, it says to
boot the system.

The boot fails. When boot went to check my root file system, it failed
because permission denied to open run/root/dev/

I enter maintenance and discover that while there is a /run directory,
it does not hold a root directory.

After reporting the failure, I'm told that a manual fsck must be
performed. What does tis have to do with access to run/root/dev?

In any case I umount /dev/nvme0n1 in order to run # fsck /dev/nvme0n1.
But I can't because it is in use. I boot to the refracra instraller
and try to run fsck from it terminal. It can't read the superblock. I
tried others without success or else the device lacke an extt4 file
system. And yet when I installed I was care to have the boot and
root file system formatted.
