I haven't noticed any problem with sound after the upgrade.

$ apt-cache policy pipewire
pipewire:
  Installed: (none)

$ apt-cache policy pulseaudio
pulseaudio:
  Installed: (none)

DM is XFCE.
I do have pulseaudio pinned (to not install)
