You make a very valid point. WW2 started the modern age of computing and
many more things. Looks like we’re still reaping the rewards of human
conflict to this day despite a SHIT TON of humans dying.
We’re looking at 60-70 years of humans circle jerking each other with some
powerful data they managed to gather through the power of state
imperialism. I would argue the private sector is quickly rivaling these
state powers however which will make for an interesting future.
