thanks for your feedback, I found the mini.iso was circulated on IRC
right after my question; keep thinking that a short notice on the
mailinglist would greatly improve our communication.

last week I ran an analysis with parazyd of the forked packages
situation and also addressed a recent bug that leads beowulf upgrades
to have the /etc/apt/sources.list changed with wrong lines by the
obsolete 'devuan-baseconf' package.

Then at the last meeting we proposed and agreed with everyone to:

- phase out the devuan-baseconf, also from debootstrap (step necessary
in order not to break mini.iso)

- change the /etc/os-release ID to 'debian' in order to overcome
trivial base distro identification problems and last not least the
grub2 problem which would lead to the undesirable fork of grub

I appreciate if anyone eventually operating these changes before we do
can produce another mini.iso afterwards and notice this list
