Best squatters!
Ksenia, Holger, Devan, Dominic, Jérôme, Caleb, Dmytri, Jaromil, Naomi

We've had quite some laughes in the past weeks, and also saw some
ramblings in anticipation of the next SquatTech events. I've heard you
and the valuable remarks about the naming scheme turning into a label,
but instead randomising mutual appearances. Yet I'm also keen to take
this into the publics, why a little superficial surface to the
activities may aid in public recognition. Why we would possibly want
that, could be left for discussion in BLN then.

Whyfore i am proposing to step away from calling it SquatConf, but
render the prefix into a context and that label to the neverending
quarrel in the channels (:

My proposal in the pad [1] now reads:

- SquatCamp, 14. - 16.05., *undisclosed*
- SquatBar, 19.05., Barcamp and loose get together, with presentations,
buffet and chit-chat
- SquatPub, 20.-21.05., Working desks for publicising decentralising
narratives. Using the tools, extending them, gaining traction within
networked communities - Offline first!

This is a rough outline and could be extended with rationales later on.

Nowadays I would be more interested in setting the scene, publicising
the idea within adjacent circles and reassuring the previous proposals
still hold. Ksenia also requested a small website already, for example.

Are we still up for this? Then we could calmly continue to prepare
something around food/catering, stabilise programme proposals and find
out where the distinctions in our different proposals lie.

Also please keep us up to date about the BarnCamp, in so we can
distribute it to our peers.

Sunny greetings from Rostock,

Jon
