What is strange is that a jessie install CD looks for an ASCII Release
file :)
Will be AFK until Monday morning. Will have a look then. I guess the
issue is with "stable" linking to "ascii" since the release. If this
is the case, we should generate new install media for jessie.
The easy workaround is to use the "expert install" option, which
should allow to choose among all the suites found in the mirror,
including oldstable.
