Subject: [DNG] An eudev oddity ?
Given a USB pendrive that was one used to hold a Linux install .iso (dd ... of:/dev/sdi...) then formatted and used as /dev/sdi1 to store data.

When plugged in, I see it appear in the PCManFM "Places" as both sdi and LABEL; either can be mounted, and its content browsed, opened, etc.

Is the normal ?

How can I format it so it is no longer "seen" as /dev/sdi ?

Cheers,

Ron.
