It's really a mixed bag. On one hand, you can't completely trust any
computer, on the other, you can't really trust the computers that handle
check/credit card/debit transactions either, and in fact, you can probably
trust them a lot less.

For reasonably careful, reasonably competent people, I'd expect the overall
risk reduction from the increased transaction scrutiny afforded by use of
online banking to far outweigh the risks accessing sensitive financial
information from one's PC/
