Hi all,

It does feel like this is a moment when we might want to consider
whether the really important distinction is not so much between
open-source software and closed-source software (since that battle does
appear to be trending thoroughly in favor of the former), but between
software developed, distributed, and maintained by corporations, and
software developed, distributed, and maintained by non-corporate groups
(whether those be 'community,' or 'community-based', or popular, or
non-profit, or foundation, or grass-roots, etc.
