You're right. It matters to all of us, and this list is fairly technical
as it is.

Well, that low-level stuff creeps me out. i'd be glad if someone who
knows what they're doing maintain that. adding common boot options would
be great - I think acpi etc are already there, but "irqpoll" for some
sata-hd's would be good. a one liner desc about each one would be nice
too.

Looks good. just wanna add one thing.
We should try to split up the modules in as many packages as possible so
they'll get easier for many people to maintain. rigth now we got one for
video, audio, net etc. I think it would be nice to have one for - say -
video/veejay, video/editing, video/libs etc (same for audio). How 'bout
that?
