Not my case.
I just don't want to have an application dipped into the A1 by the
developer inside my box. A hard *no* for me.

It may be a good idea to leave it as it is and see what happens.

My needs are simple: readable, coherent and reliably generated logs
for my workstation.

Given the A1 flag (by the developerno less!) it may well be time to
rid the Devuan repositories of [rsyslog].
