Are you using the version from the Devuan repo, or direct from the
yt-dlp? I don't experience this with the current version from GitHub.
YouTube is a rapidly moving target, you really need the current release.

I've actually replaced yt-dlp with a script that always runs it with the
-U (update now) flag. It checks for updates every time I use it.
