A daunting/dangerous task no doubt and elevated privileges will be

Picking up on the *green slime* idea:

Maybe a *roto_rooter-task* package [could be optional if necessary]
which would id, clean up and dispose of all the *.slime files in an
environmentally sound [for the system] manner.

eg: [mv] all the slime files to specific directory and tar.gz them
all along with an easily accessed .log file with the name and path of
each *.slime element.

Doesn't the infamous *usrmerge* package do something similar?
