In my case, after my most recent house move earlier this year, what
happened is a shit company that doesn't have any record of the FTTP Fibre
To The Home equipment that is actually installed here. It's in my lounge
room! They want to charge me $550 to "install" it.

So I'm using a 4G SIM router for my Internet. Limited data, lousy
reception, I'm not running a server from here.

The shit company claim they sent out "an audit team" to figure out what's
here, that apparently could not contact me. I was at home all day
waiting for the post office to deliver that 4G SIM. Windows and doors
where open, I was constantly watching outside for the delivery. If there
was an actual audit team here, I would have spotted them and talked with
them.

Last time I had FTTP I did run a server from home over IPv6.
