Hi,

For several years I paid Island Hosting of southern Vancouver Island
for Web hosting. https://madeinca.ca/web-hosting-island-hosting/
To my understanding, it was a family business.

Island Hosting sold out to Exact Hosting. This past Spring my
account shifted there. https://exacthosting.com/

Services are working with distracting difficulties.

* With Island Hosting, my private mailing list worked with no snags.
With Exact Hosting, the order of 10 bogus membership applications
appear each day.

* With Island Hosting, routing to my Web site was a non-issue. With
Exact, my domain name routes to a wiki I created rather than to my Web
index page. It can be fixed but why not work directly?

* With Exact, the host Web site including the support process is more
difficult than with Island.

So I wonder about possible alternatives. Zenutech, now using the name
"We Care Hosting", is based in Fredericton and Montreal. An
organization I volunteer with has a Web site there and the service may
be better; I don't know.
