    Yes, Ada is kinda superset of Pascal. It has reached maturity more
than 20 years ago and has extensions which allow extremely secure code.
I think it is unrivalled about security and unrivalled concerning
readability of the source. It has a very rich set of OO programming
features, but doesn't enforce OO programming in any way -- eg: generic
programming doesn't imply OO. It allows to put restrictions on program
construcs, for the sake of security.

    The arguments against its adoption may be that the build chain is
slightly more complicated than C/C+, and it is philosophically very
different of C, which implies some learnig time before people write
valuable programs. It is easier than C++ though. Another reason is that
there is only one free Ada compiler, Gnat, and it exists by the good
will of a private company, Adacore, much like RedHat, decades ago,
provided a free version of its distro.

    Rust can't compare to Ada. No other programming language I've
heared of can.
