Drag and drop? I do this often on Plasma and within KDE apps. Like
dragging a file to a compose window of KMail to have it attached. Or
dragging a file into KWrite to have it display it. You can even drag a
directory into file save dialog to have it switch to it. Or drag something
into a side bar to have it integrated there. Things like that.

Already in quite early Amiga times I was able to drag and drop around
stuff. And they just improved on that later on.
