I checked the rdepends per Arnt's suggestion and the only results were
other python2.7 packages.
I have renamed python2.7 and replaced it with a bash script calling
zenity, as you suggested, Steve. I then wrote a 2 line python script
using python2.7 to verify that the popup is correctly called. It is.
I was unaware of zenity. It was automatically installed as a dependency
of x11-utils, but I never know about it. A useful utility, however.
