Your ISP website should have a support section that details what connection type you need to use, either directly on the website support/knowledgebase/FAQ pages or perhaps in your account details page if there is an account login.
Otherwise if you haven’t reset any of your router settings you could login to that and check what connection type it is using for the WAN connection.
