No need to be mild about this sort of crap.
Being mild is what has got us here.
ie: with systemd (and a lot of associated trash) shoved up *ours*.

Unfortunately, it is not.

It is the current idiotic trend in many parts of the Linux ecosystem
and it is spreading and getting worse as time goes by.

This is a clear example of that trend, one where common sense and
proper coding has gone the way of the dodo.
