Is there a way I can log information from my draft frei0r plugin to a
file or elsewhere?

I'm picking up C++ after a long layoff, and would like to check that
the values I am setting are correct, and other troubleshooting. I'm
looking to have the routine burp out some variable values as it runs.

I've been able to get the draft plugin to register with melt/mlt and
kdenlive.
