Hi all,

It all began with an email whose subject was the mournfully regretful
sounding "NixOS, I never knew you." It's become the source of at least
19 replies, drowning out mention of anything technical, anything about
systemd, Devuan or Debian, and only politically related to the Linux
kernel or the surrounding userland. It sounds a lot like the
Debian-User mailing list, where arguments, many of them offtopic, go on
for days. I sure do like the Devuan mailing list better than that awful
Debian-User mailing list.

Hence we forget, NixOS has been a systemd distro since 7/19/2014, so it
has little or nothing to do with Devuan. NixOS's (alleged) misfortunes
are none of our own.

So could we please get back to being Devuan and let Don Armstrong and
his Debian-User crew carry the banner for argumentation?
