I was addressing a theoretical concern. As with any other bug in some
piece of open source software, I'm going to do this for all packages
where it affects me should it ever affect me. The chances are not
extremely great, as I'm just running a (very outdated) Devuan version on
my private work computer while my employer uses Debian 10 and 12, but
that's a different conversation.
