In a world of C and the OpenBSD devs agree then supervision prevents failing safe e.g. retrying searches for gadgets in randomised locations to turn an exploit into ownership.
With c lib free Rust, Dart or Nodejs. I guess you could use supervision safely. However, with Ada Spark, you can prove a process cannot crash (absent of runtime errors) likely more easily than pleasing Rusts borrow checker and with potentially higher performance than C due to the extra type information that the compiler could potentially use during optimisation or the programmer utilise to drop checks.
