Agree.
Based on what I can understand on the subject, the safest route clearly seems
to me to lead to runit, also because that there could be more people here
capable of contributing, and (if I'm not mistaken) runit scripts should be
portable so should be possible join forces and collaborate by reusing the
runit scripts already available for any distro...

And sooner or later (I would say sooner) it will happen... and therefore
shields are needed now.
