- Might be worth discussing the consideration of adopting the CAFE
desktop environment for Debian/Devuan systems (there are DEB files
available). It is a MATE fork using CTK (which is a fork of GTK3). I
cannot attend the meet, but feel free to ping me on IRC about what was
discussed and what your impressions were. Official repository:
https://github.com/cafe-desktop
  - (plasma41) Looks interesting and seems to have some actual work
behind it, not a mere rebrand. I'm unable to find any sort of "Why I'm
Forking" page. I would be interested to know what the goals of the
project are.
  - (golinux) Devuan will adopt it if/when Debian does. In the
meantime . . . you are welcome to provide a Devuan based version @
git.devuan.org.
  - (anon) cutefish had a lot of work behind it, too. Time Will tell
  - (brocashelm) I saw mention of CAFE and CTK over at this blog
lamenting the future of GTK-based desktops, where the comment author
mentioned development underway for a GTK3 fork:
https://ludditus.com/2021/05/30/is-there-any-future-for-the-gtk-based-desktop-environments
    - (golinux) You might have a chance of getting some traction if
you fork it, theme it for Devuan and commit to maintaining it
indefinitely . . .

### LeePen

#### Amprolla

Deployed update:-

- refine binNMU detection for notifications
- handle missing spool Release file more gracefully
- delete old suites which are no longer configured to be merged
- cleanups as suggested by pylint

The `amprolla:~amprolla/packages.devuan.org` and
`amprolla:~amprolla/amprolla-debug-parazyd`
instances appear unused to me. Can they and the corresponding pkgmaster subtree
(`pkgmirror:~vesta/packages.devuan.org`) be deleted? They use about 10.6G in
total. Is anybody aware of any current usage?

#### Packaging

- ceres:-
+ packagekit
+ sysvinit (Fix for [#617](http://bugs.devuan.org/617))
+ oddjob (binary rebuild after [Debian#1030638](http://bugs.debian.org/1030638)
fix)
+ firewalld (new fork after losing its initscript several years ago, but
nobody seems to have noticed!)
+ avahi

### bb|hcb

#### New host - aragosta.d.o

- The plan is to replace nardoo which expires soon
- Moving files.d.o to aragosta, so public resources are shared between
two hosts with 1gbps bandwidth each

### golinux

- Updated the derivatives list on dev1galaxy with revisions provided
by brocashelm. He'll provide the same for the list on devuan.org so
the two will be harmonized.
- Discussion about devuan assets hosted on github.
