confused!!!!!!!!!!!

When I look up the man page for apt - - - hmmmmmmmm - - - its now apt-rpm
and last updates are from 2008 (just a wee while ago). Can't seem to
find anything
somewhat contemporary - - - - - hmmmmm - - - - - just quite confused!!!
