While Bitcoin is not a privacy coin with high degree of anonymity, it is
not a "government's best friend" either. There are ways to use bitcoin
anonymously or at least pseudonymously, if you are careful about your entry
and exit points. Meaning if you don't use exchanges that require ID
confirmations, you can still use it anonymously.

But if you don't like bitcoin, there are other privacy coins like monero
zcash etc.

Just stay away from Kill Gates's patent 666 matrix cryptocurrency ;) *lol*
