...on my and FSF's view, is how the GPL's enforceability as a license
compares to speed limits on roads: Nobody cares if you agree to the
speed limits, it's all about enforcing compliance to "that crazy" speed
limit that you must stay below (or over), which easily includes
"License and registration, please!", which must all be valid, the
vehicle must remain in a safe roadworthy condition close to the
certified condition it had when you got your ride and when you started
your road trip, or else you might need your white privilege or a lawyer
or some such.

..now on agreement, any decent cop will be happy to advice you on how
to run for mayor "to fix that crazy speed limit" while you serve off
your time for violating it... ;oD
