I would probably agree with the meta-package strategy, the only
potential problem being the proliferation of meta-packages for the
same "task". I think that the suggestion to let the user decide at
install-time whether they want Suggests: and Recommends: is a good
one. After all, we will never be able to cover all the possible use
cases anyway...
