Frankly, considering the ease of installation, i already thought i
could go back the manjaro openrc installation i had before (which got
corrupted by some qemu experiments) and run devuan only in virtualbox
(but that's not really a good idea when you try to put together a
desktop for devuan - imho).
As for the installer: i remember the siduction people (who
unfortunately went full speed toward systemd :-( ) they had a nice
simple installing routine which is based on html. It was very simple,
but clear and self explaining, IIRC ...
In any case, although the installation is not easy to build, it should
not create trouble.
One good point in the devuan/debian installer (and i didn't remember
that from former times) is the automatic setup of the network. Years
ago you needed absolutely the hardwired connection to the router, now
the wireless setup works flawlessly.
